Minister of Finance Bars Employees from Taking Any Monies
The Minister of Finance issued Decree No. 92 of 2012 (published in the Egyptian Gazette, Issue No. 49 (bis), published on February 29th, 2012) barring employees in certain departments of the Ministry of particular importance and sensitivity from taking any monies from entities where they represent the Ministry, including bonuses, incentives or otherwise. The Decree also prevents any employees of the Ministry from participating in the boards of directors or general assemblies or committees that are outside of their work duties except with the approval of the Minister.
